Peri-menopause typically begins in a woman’s 40s but can start as early as her mid-30s!

Menopause is confirmed when a woman has gone 12 consecutive months without a period.  Peri-menopause is the transition to menopause that is often characterized by irregular menstrual cycles, hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings, changes in libido, vaginal dryness, difficulty sleeping, fatigue, and possibly other symptoms.

A low sex drive can stem from various factors including hormonal changes, stress, relationship issues, medications, and underlying health conditions.  At BPHAC, we aim to uncover the root cause in order to create long-lasting treatment plans and tools for you.

Yes! We use various strategies and therapies, including sexual counseling, mindfulness techniques, exploring different forms of stimulation, and addressing potential underlying psychological or medical factors,

Pain during sex can have various causes including inadequate lubrication, vaginal infections, pelvic floor muscle dysfunction, hormonal imbalances, or other conditions such as endometriosis or pelvic inflammatory disease.  Our practitioners aim to uncover the underlying cause to create the right treatment plan for you.
